Anna’s Crescent Biscuits (Vegan)

Overview

Based on a traditional Czechoslovakian recipe this biscuit recipe is so delicious and simple- the kids can make it.

Makes 28 biscuits.

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 160 fan forced
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients together to form a dough.
  3. Bring dough together in a ball shape, cover in a bowl and then place in the fridge to rest & set for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll into dough into 2 sausages and use a tablespoon to slice off a 7cm piece of dough, then roll and shape into a crescent, then place on lined tray. Repeat until all dough is used up. Be careful to space out the cookies well on the tray so they don't join while baking. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated fan forced oven at 160C until pale golden.
  5. Allow to cool completely before dusting with vanilla icing sugar mixture.
  6. Store in a jar or airtight container.
  7. Great for coffee & tea time or a package up as a special home made gift.
